ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Essential qualification (all departments):

• A PhD with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree, in an appropriate branch.

• A very good academic record throughout.

• At least 3 years of industrial, research or teaching experience. Time spent doing your PhD does not count.

Citizenship: Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• Publication and patent details with proof

• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), if applicable

• Disability certificate (at least 40% disability, issued by a Government Medical Board on or before the last date), if applicable

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current employer, needed at the time of interview if you are in service

SELECTION PROCESS

• The Screening Committee shortlists candidates using criteria set by the institute.

• Shortlisted candidates are called for a seminar presentation and/or interview.

• Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call.

• Uploaded documents are checked against originals at the interview.

• Selected candidates serve one year of probation. Appointment orders are provisional until antecedents and documents are verified.

Air, 1,001 to 1,500 km: ₹18,000 (or actual fare, whichever is less)

Air, over 1,500 km: ₹24,000
