If you're planning to pursue a B.Ed. from a college of education in Punjab for the 2026–27 academic session, the Joint B.Ed. Admissions (Punjab) 2026 process is now open. Punjabi University, Patiala has been appointed by the Governor of Punjab to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) and centralized counselling on behalf of all three Punjab universities. This guide walks you through everything - registration, important dates, fees, eligibility, exam pattern, and the official links you'll need.

WHAT IS JOINT B.ED. ADMISSIONS (PUNJAB) 2026?

This is the single, centralized admission process for B.Ed. General and B.Ed. Special Education programmes across government, government-aided, and private self-financed colleges of education located within Punjab, affiliated to three universities:

  • Punjabi University, Patiala - 93 affiliated colleges

  • Panjab University, Chandigarh - 58 affiliated colleges

  • Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar - 49 affiliated colleges

Instead of applying separately to each university, candidates fill one online form, appear for one Common Entrance Test, and get allotted a college through centralized online counseling based on merit and choice-filling.
