Panjab University has granted Golden Chance to the undergraduate/postgraduate/professional courses students of Annual and Semester System (open for all) i.e. irrespective of the year of admission for annua system/odd and even both semesters for semester system, to clear their respective reappear(s)/ Compartment(s)/Improvement/additional/deficient/Full subjects except professional (if otherwise eligible as per P.U. rules/regulations for the specific course) to complete their respective degrees, who have exhausted their all permissible chances. The examination forms will be filled ONLINE at PU website i.e. ugexam.puchd.ac.in and pgexam.puchd.ac.in with effect from 21" August, 2023 to 4 September, 2023 upto 5.00 pm.
The Semester System students will have to appear in golden chance examinations as per syllabi of academic session 2022-23 and annual system students will have to appear according to the closing annual system year syllabi i.e. First Year 2013-14 syllabi, Second Year 2014-15 syllabi and Third Year 2015-16 syllabi.
The examination fees for the Golden Chance would be Rs. 7500/- for Undergraduate students per class/semester (Annual/Semester system) and Rs. 15000/- for Postgraduate students per class/semester (Annual/Semester system). The SC/ST students will be granted 50% concession for the examination fees.
The Golden Chance examinations will be conducted in the 3rd week of September, 2023 in physical mode only.
After the last date is over i.e. 4th September 2023 - 5.00 pm, no examination form will be accepted/considered under any circumstances.
