ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Must have completed 120 hours of computer course (Office Productivity / Desktop Publishing) OR DOEACC ‘O’ level certificate.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT :
Must have passed Punjabi language at Matriculation level with at least 50% marks (qualifying test).
AGE LIMIT (as on 01.01.2026):
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 37 years
Relaxations:
SC/BC: up to 42 years
State employees: up to 45 years
Ex-servicemen: as per rules
Widows/divorcees: up to 40 years
PwD: up to 47 years
SALARY
Pay Scale: Level-2, ₹19,900/-

EXAM PATTERN
Objective Type (MCQs)
Two Parts:
Part A – Qualifying (50% marks required)
Part B – Merit-based evaluation
Negative Marking: 1/4th marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Merit list will be prepared based only on Part-B marks.
TYPING TEST (QUALIFYING)
English Typing Speed: 30 words per minute
Punjabi Typing Speed: 30 words per minute
Punjabi typing in Unicode Compliant Font (Raavi)
Typing test is qualifying in nature
