The Panjab University (PU) has released the LL.B. Migration Entrance Test 2025 prospectus for students seeking admission into the 3rd or 5th semester of LL.B. through migration. The entrance test is scheduled for 27th July 2025. Candidates must fulfill eligibility conditions and apply online within the given deadlines.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Must be currently enrolled in an LL.B. program.
- Migration allowed only to 3rd or 5th semesters.
- Must have cleared all papers of previous semesters.
- No more than two deficient papers allowed.
- Must have minimum 45% aggregate marks in prior academic years.
- Degree from previous university must be recognized as equivalent by PU.
ENTRANCE EXAM SCHEME
- Mode: Offline (OMR-based)
- Duration: 1 hour
- Total Questions: 50 MCQs
- Marking: +1 for correct, -0.25 for incorrect
- Syllabus: Based on Panjab University LL.B. curriculum for 1st/2nd Year

ADMISSION PROCESS & COUNSELLING
- Merit list prepared based 100% on entrance exam marks.
- Admission is provisional and based on verification of documents during counselling.
- No reservations in migration seats.
- Separate Admission Form to be filled after result declaration (dates notified later).
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Migration is not a right, it is subject to Board approval.
- No seat reservation for any category.
- Students must pay ₹50,000 migration fee + regular annual fee.
- The test center is only in Chandigarh.
- Admit card download is mandatory; no physical dispatch.
