The Education Recruitment Directorate (ERD), Punjab, has confirmed one of the biggest teaching recruitment drives in the state in recent years. On 18 June 2026, the department issued an official short notice for 829 fresh Lecturer posts, and a separate backlog notice adds another 184 posts - taking the total to 1,013 vacancies across 12 subjects.
