LIST OF WOMEN CHIEF JUSTICE OF HIGH COURT INDIA IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER :-
1. JUSTICE LEILA SETH : Justice Leila Seth became the first woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 1991. She served as the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
2. JUSTICE SUJATA V. MANOHAR : Justice Sujata V. Manohar became the second woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 1994. She served as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
3. JUSTICE M. FATHIMA BEEVI : Justice M. Fathima Beevi became the third woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 1996. She served as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
4. JUSTICE SUJATA V. MANOHAR (SECOND TERM) : Justice Sujata V. Manohar became the fourth woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 1999. She served as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.
5. JUSTICE RUMA PAL : Justice Ruma Pal became the fifth woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 2000. She served as the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court.
6. JUSTICE GYAN SUDHA MISRA : Justice Gyan Sudha Misra became the sixth woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 2010. She served as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.
7. JUSTICE RANJANA DESAI : Justice Ranjana Desai became the seventh woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 2011. She served as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.
8. JUSTICE NISHITA MHATRE : Justice Nishita Mhatre became the eighth woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India in 2022. She is serving as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
