Explanation
Justice F.M. Kallifulla was appointed as the head of the mediation panel on Ayodhya's Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute case in March 2019. The panel was set up by the Supreme Court of India to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement of the long-standing dispute between Hindu and Muslim communities over the ownership of a religious site in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Justice Kallifulla is a former judge of the Supreme Court of India and has served as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
