The cells that actually release antibodies are plasma cells.
Plasma cells are a type of B cell that has been activated by an antigen and differentiated into a cell that produces and secretes large amounts of antibodies specific to that antigen. Helper T-cells help activate and coordinate the immune response, cytotoxic T-cells kill infected cells, and memory cells are long-lived cells that "remember" previous encounters with an antigen and can mount a faster and stronger response upon re-exposure to that antigen.
