National Hindi Day, also known as Hindi Diwas, is celebrated every year on September 14th in India. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi as the official language of the country. The day is celebrated to promote the use of Hindi language and to commemorate the efforts of the Constituent Assembly in making Hindi the official language of India. On this day, various events and activities are organized across the country to promote Hindi language and literature, including seminars, cultural programs, and Hindi poetry recitations. The President of India also presents awards to individuals and organizations for their outstanding contribution to the promotion and development of Hindi language and literature.
