Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 100 posts of Nursery Teachers (NTT) on regular basis as per following details:-
General : 45 Posts
OBC : 27 Posts

PAY SCALE / MATRIX
The Pay scale for the post of Nursery Teachers (NTT) is Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs 4200 (Level-6)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class XII or its equivalents) from recognized board with at least 50% marks.
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with atleast 45% marks in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002 notified on 13th November, 2002; AND
2. Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. Nursery from NCTE recognized institution.
MODE OF SELECTION AND SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
i) Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test/MCQ. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
ii) Written test consisting of Multiple-choice questions will be conducted as under:
Total no. of questions : 150 Ques.
Total marks : 150 Marks
Time : 2 hours 30 minutes
WRITTEN TEST DETAILS :-
a) *Difficulty Level of questions will be upto 10th standard.
b) Minimum qualifying marks will be 40%.
c) Negative marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 mark will be made for each wrong answer.
d) The examination questions will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the Language papers. which would be in the concerned Language only

2. Reasoning Ability and Arithmetic : 15 Questions
3. Teaching Aptitude & Pedagogy : 30 Questions
4. Information & Communication Technology (ICT) : 15 Questions
*Test of Punjabi Language and Comprehension : 10 Questions
*Test of Hindi Language and Comprehension : 10 Questions
*Test of English Language and Comprehension : 10 Questions
*Mathematics : 15 Questions
*General Science : 15 Questions
*Social Science : 15 Questions
AGE LIMIT
Candidates age should be strictly between 18 to 37 years as on 01.01.2023
